1. Digital Sovereignty
How do you maintain control over technology, data, and strategic dependencies?

Executive summit 2026
The independent executive platform for digital leadership.
Wednesday December 9, 2026 13:00 – 19:00h
Buitenplaats Kameryck, Kamerik

The Digital State brings together digital leaders around the choices that shape the future of organizations in the Netherlands.
AI, digital sovereignty, security, talent, data and scalability require more than technology alone. They require leadership, direction and decision-making.
During this first edition, we connect research, practice and cross-sector dialogue — helping leaders move from insight to action.

Who is invited?
The Digital State is intended for:
Participation is selective and personal.
| 13:00 | Welcome |
| 13:25 | Part 1 – The Digital State | An independent perspective on digital leadership, digital maturity, and the most important choices facing organizations in the Netherlands. |
| 15:05 | Part 2 – Executive choices | In-depth breakout sessions on pressing topics such as digital sovereignty, the future workfore, AI/scalability, and security & resilience. Upon registration, participants indicate their preferred topics; participants attend two breakout sessions. |
| 16:55 | Part 3 – Boardroom dialogue & closing | Group reflection on the insights gained from the breakout sessions and how to translate them into the boardroom agenda. |
| 18:00 | Reception |
| 19:30 | End of program |
At The Digital State, we work with a carefully curated group of speakers and moderators. Rather than individual inspirational sessions, we opt for contributions that together form a single narrative: from research and strategic decisions to boardroom dialogue.
The first speakers will be announced shortly. Expect contributions from leaders and experts who view digital transformation not only through the lens of technology, but primarily through the lens of strategy, organization, governance, and leadership.
During The Digital State, you can attend two executive breakout sessions. When you register, please indicate your preferences for the topics that are most relevant to you. We will determine the schedule based on your preferences, available spots, and the final parallel session lineup.
How do you maintain control over technology, data, and strategic dependencies?
What do technology, AI, and new ways of working mean for people, organizations, and leadership?
How do you prevent AI from getting stuck in isolated pilots and one-off projects, and build scalable value through governance, a data foundation, and a digital backbone?
How does security become a governance issue concerning continuity, reputation, and accountability?
Anderson MacGyver clients and personally invited relations may participate free of charge. For approved external participants, a participation fee of €495 applies.
Because The Digital State is a selective executive summit with limited spots available, we review applications to ensure they align with the target audience.
